Water Reclamation Plant One | Tertiary Treatment |
Tertiary Sand Filtration
In nature, when rain water falls it passes through soil,
gravel, and rock down to aquifers. This naturally purifies
the water and we pump this water out of the aquifers
for drinking water. We use the same concept with our
sand filters. The waste water having left secondary
treatment passes through granular material (sand and
fire coal) which strains out or absorbs any remaining
solids. These filters automatically clean themselves
when they get dirty.
