Waste Water Reclamation Plant Two | Excess Flow

Introduction

During extremely wet weather, more water can come to the plant than it can safely handle. We would not want to overload the plant and pollute the stream and we would not want to leave the excess water to back up and flood homes.

We have an emergency system ready to handle these events. The water coming to the plant does not carry as high a concentration of solids or pollution. This excess flow is sent through three stages of treatment.
