We are excited to announce the plans for Halloween 2020!
Posted on Tuesday September 15, 2020

Trick or Treating hours this year will be from 3pm-7pm. Please read through the following guidelines for more details regarding health and safety during this years celebrations.

1. We ask that Trick or Treaters, as well as homeowners, consider wearing a mask when interacting with each other.
2. Please do not leave bowls of candy outside for multiple people to put their hands in.
3. Although what you do in your own homes is your business, the Health Department and our medical experts are very concerned about large gatherings taking place. Please consider this when making your plans.
4. If you would like to refrain from passing out candy this year, we have created a common sign that can be hung on your front door or in a front window, that will signify to Trick or Treaters NOT to ring your doorbell. This sign can be picked up at Village Hall during normal business hours OR you can print your own by clicking the link below. We ask that if Trick or Treaters do see this sign on someone’s door, that they respect the wishes of those homeowners and walk on to the next house.

The Village and the Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a socially distant daytime Halloween event this year, for those who want their younger children to dress up and receive candy without having to go door to door. Please click here for details about Scarecrow Stroll.

If you have any questions at all, please contact Village Hall at 815-462-6400.
